My Passion For Ceramics Began With A Pottery Class In Naples, Florida In 2007. From My First Day In A Clay Studio, I Was Immediately Transfixed By The Joys And Challenges Of The Material, And The Process Of Turning Clay Into Art.

In 2009, I Relocated To Asheville North Carolina; An Area Well Known For Its Deep Roots In Ceramic Art Tradition. There I Attended Odyssey Center For The Ceramic Arts As A Student, And Later Joined Their Staff As A Studio Technician. After Several Years Of Work And Study, I Began My Career As A Full Time Studio Potter. In 2016, I Returned To My Hometown Of Minneapolis Minnesota To Continue My Career, And Finally To Palm Springs California Where I Currently Work And Reside.

I Create Both Decorative And Functional Ceramic Art Pieces. My Process Involves A Variety Of Glaze & Image Transfer Techniques To Create Strong Graphics That Are Inspired By My Love For Modern Art, Design, Street Art & Graffiti. In My Work, I Seek To Create Pieces That Are Visually Bold, And Pieces That Bring A Fresh, Contemporary Aesthetic To An Ancient Art Form.
